Jasper Canadian Rockies Half Marathon
The event takes place on April 25, 2026 in Jasper, Alberta, inside Jasper National Park. All races start and finish at the RV parking lot in town, minutes from nearby hotels, restaurants and shops.
Four distances are offered:
- 21 km
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 1 km
Entry includes a commemorative race shirt, a finisher medal and chip timing. Each registration includes a mandatory charity contribution of CAD 10 for the half marathon and 10 km and CAD 5 for the 5 km. A Run for the Community category offers a reduced entry fee in exchange for a fundraising commitment of at least CAD 500 for the Jasper Healthcare Foundation.
Organizers note that final course approval is subject to Parks Canada and that wildlife activity or wildfire smoke may require route changes, delays, temporary holds, or cancellation; no refunds will be issued in those circumstances. Air quality will be monitored and the event may be modified if conditions reach high risk. Participants must present photo ID at packet pickup.
