Jamestown Open Water Festival
The Jamestown Open Water Festival takes place on May 30, 2027 at Jamestown Beach Event Park, 2205 Jamestown Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185. The meet offers open water swim events on a marked one-mile loop with large colored buoys, an in-water start at the start/finish area, a finish banner, and a video based timing system.
Events include:
- 5K Swim Race
- One Mile Swim
- Half Mile Splash / Half Mile Dash (1K)
Registration opens October 15, 2026 and remains open through the event day, May 30, 2027. Entry fees are listed per event: $85 for a single event, $100 for two events, and $110 for three events. Fees include registration, a swim cap, and an event T-shirt. Discounts for multiple events apply only when registering in a single transaction.
Parking at Jamestown Beach Event Park is $10.00 per vehicle. A pre-paid parking option is available during registration for $5.00 per vehicle; pre-paid vehicles will be placed on a pre-paid list at the guard shack.
Age-group awards are offered for each event. The 5K awards top male and female with backpacks and plaques; other events award 1st through 3rd place plaques. Each event uses specified age divisions based on age on May 30, 2027.
Teams may register multiple participants in one transaction, request coupon codes, or ask for a preformatted spreadsheet for large-team entry.
