JALC Tri-Festa Triathlon

The JALC Tri-Festa Triathlon is set for Saturday, May 23, 2026, at John A. Logan College in Carterville, Illinois.
Course Format
The event consists of a 0.25-mile indoor swim, a 14-mile outdoor bike segment, and a 3-mile outdoor run. The swim uses a serpentine format in an indoor lap pool. The bike and run courses are on local roadways that remain open to traffic.
Event Details
Participants must be at least 9 years old. Awards include trophies for overall winners and medals for the top three finishers in each age group and team category. Age groups range from 14 years and under to 70 years and above.
The registration fee is $50 for individuals and $100 for teams of two or three. Registrations are non-refundable.
Registration
Registration is available online, in-person at the Logan Fitness check-in desk, or by mail. Same-day registration is allowed on the morning of the event. To guarantee a t-shirt, registration must be received by May 8th.
Additional Information
Participants need to bring their own bike and helmet; helmets are mandatory. This event is not sanctioned by USA Triathlon. There is no cut-off time, and officials will remain on course until all participants finish. Food is served after the race, followed by an awards ceremony.
