The San Diego Santa Run takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, on Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach, San Diego. The start and finish are on Garnet Avenue next to the Bank of America at 912 Garnet Avenue. The event includes multiple sub-events and a post-race parade in Pacific Beach. There are two 5K waves; age group awards are given only for the first 5K wave. Chip timing is provided for both 5K waves and the Kids 1 Mile. Dogs are not allowed in the 5K.

Entry, swag and logistics
Standard registration fees listed are $54.99 for the 5K and $34.99 for both the Kids Mile and Dog Mile. All 5K participants receive a Sunny Santa Suit (hat, top, shorts, belt, beard), sunglasses, chip timing, a custom bib, and a complimentary drink ticket. Kids 1 Mile participants receive a Santa hat, sunglasses, chip timed result and a finisher medal. Dog Mile participants receive a bib, Santa hat and sunglasses. A packet-mail option is available for $17.50 (deadline listed as November 29, 2025). Complimentary drink tickets are redeemable at several local bars; ticket redemption requires being 21+ with valid ID. The event benefits the Pacific Beach Holiday Parade and includes street closures and no-parking areas on sections of Garnet Avenue and nearby streets on event day.
