San Diego Santa Run
The San Diego Santa Run takes place on December 13, 2025, on Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach, San Diego. The event includes a 5K, a Kids 1 Mile for children 12 and under, and a Dog 1 Mile for participants with dogs (limited to 125 entries). The event benefits the Pacific Beach Holiday Parade. The 5K offers two waves; age-group awards are given only for the first 5K wave. All timed 5K and Kids 1 Mile entries are chip timed.

Event logistics and inclusions
Registration prices listed on the event page are $54.99 for the 5K and $34.99 for the Kids Mile and Dog Mile. 5K participants receive a Sunny Santa Suit (two sizes available), Santa Run sunglasses, chip timing, a custom bib, and a complimentary drink ticket. Kids 1 Mile participants receive a bib, Santa hat, sunglasses, chip-timed results and a finisher medal. Dog Mile participants receive a bib, Santa hat, and sunglasses. Dogs are not allowed in the 5K. Packet pick-up is available at scheduled locations or can be mailed for a $17.50 fee. The complimentary drink ticket is redeemable at specified local bars and requires being 21+ with ID. Street closures and no-parking areas are scheduled on Garnet Avenue and nearby streets for the event day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
