San Diego Santa Run
The San Diego Santa Run is a holiday running event in Pacific Beach, San Diego on December 12, 2026. The start and finish are located at 912 Garnet Avenue next to the Bank of America. The event includes several sub-events and family-friendly options.

All 5K participants receive the Sunny Santa Suit (hat, top, shorts, belt, beard), Santa Run sunglasses, chip timing, a custom bib, and a complimentary drink ticket. The Kids 1 mile is chip timed and includes a Santa hat, T-shirt, sunglasses, and a finisher medal. The Dog 1 mile provides a bib, T-shirt, Santa hat, and sunglasses; the dog wave is limited to 125 entries and dogs are not allowed in the 5K.
Packet pick-up is available at scheduled locations; there is a mail option for an additional $17.50 and a $5 convenience fee for race morning pick-up. Age group awards are offered only for one of the 5K waves. Post-race drink tickets are redeemable at designated partner bars for participants aged 21 and over with ID.
The event supports the Pacific Beach Holiday Parade and includes road and street closures in the Garnet Avenue area on the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
