San Diego Santa Run
The San Diego Santa Run is a seasonal running event in Pacific Beach on December 12, 2026. The start and finish are located on Garnet Avenue at 912 Garnet Avenue next to the Bank of America. The event offers multiple sub-events for adults, kids and dogs.
- 5K
- Kids 1 Mile (ages 12 and under)
- Dog 1 Mile (limited to 125 dog and owner teams)
All 5K participants receive a Sunny Santa suit, Santa Run sunglasses, a custom bib, chip timing and a complimentary drink ticket. Both 5K waves and the Kids 1 Mile are chip timed; the Dog 1 Mile does not use chip timing. Age group awards are given only in the first 5K wave; the second 5K wave does not have age group awards.
Packet pick-up is available at scheduled locations and there is a Mail My Packet option for an additional fee with a deadline on November 27, 2026. Parking in Pacific Beach is street parking. Dogs are not allowed in the 5K for safety reasons. The event benefits the Pacific Beach Holiday Parade. Post race drink tickets are redeemable at partner bars for participants 21 and over with valid ID. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
