Event overview
The San Diego Santa Run is scheduled for December 13, 2025 in Pacific Beach, San Diego. The start and finish are on Garnet Avenue in front of the Bank of America (912 Garnet Ave). The event is the 13th annual running and benefits the Pacific Beach Holiday Parade.

Logistics and race details
All 5K participants receive a Sunny Santa Suit (hat, top, shorts, belt, beard), Santa Run sunglasses, chip timing, a custom bib, and a complimentary drink ticket. Kids 1 Mile participants receive a bib, Santa hat, sunglasses, chip timed results, and a finisher medal. The Dog 1 Mile includes a bib, Santa hat, and sunglasses; dogs are not allowed in the 5K.
The 5K and Kids 1 Mile are chip timed; the Dog 1 Mile is not chip timed. Age group awards are offered only for the first 5K wave and include top 3 overall (male and female) plus age-group categories from 13 & under up through 80+.
Packet pick-up is available at scheduled locations, including Road Runner Sports (5553 Copley Dr) and a Pacific Beach parking lot (845 Garnet Ave). There is a $17.50 mail-my-packet option (deadline November 29, 2025) and a $5 convenience fee for race-morning packet pick-up. A complimentary drink ticket is redeemable at specified local bars for participants 21 and older with ID. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
