Event Overview
The Jaguar Aquathlon, 5K & 1 mi takes place on Mother's Day in Sahuarita, Arizona. The event utilizes both the Sahuarita Aquatic Center and the Man in the Maze park for its various race segments. All participants who complete their respective courses receive a finisher medal, and participants in the aquathlon categories also receive an event t-shirt. On Your Left Fitness and Timing provides professional timing services for all races.
Available Distances
Participants can choose from four different event formats:
- Sprint Aquathlon: A multisport event consisting of a 400 m pool swim followed by a 5K run.
- Super Sprint Aquathlon: A shorter multisport event featuring a 200 m pool swim and a 1 mile run.
- 5K Run: A standard running race held within the Man in the Maze park.
- 1 Mile Run: A shorter running race located in the park.
The multisport transitions occur at the Sahuarita Aquatic Center, moving from the pool directly to the running course. Registration provides different fee structures depending on the chosen distance and discipline. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
