Event

The Jacks trail race takes place on October 25, 2026, at the Mala Compra Greenway Trail in Palm Coast, FL (5645 N. Oceanshore Blvd.). The race field is limited to 125 runners.

Course and distances

The course is hammock-shaded and about 95 percent single-track, located steps from the Atlantic Ocean. A short gravel section precedes entry to the 7.66-mile Mala Compra Greenway Trail. Distances offered:

50K - four loops with an additional 0.42 mile scenic section added to the first loop
24K - two loops
12K - one loop

After the race, participants may cool off in ocean water next to the finish line area.

Awards, kids races, and policy

All entrants receive shirts and finisher awards. Special handcrafted awards are given for Overall Male/Female, Overall Masters Male/Female, Overall Grandmasters Male/Female, and the Youngest and Oldest Finisher for each distance. There are no age-group awards. Kids races are free: ages 3-6 run 0.25 mi and ages 7-12 run 0.50 mi; these short races take place before the awards ceremony.
