Jacks 50K / 24K / 12K Trail Race
Jacks is a trail running event held on October 25, 2026 in Palm Coast, FL along the Mala Compra Greenway Trail. The course runs steps from the Atlantic Ocean and is described as hammock shaded and almost entirely single track.
A short gravel section leads into the 7.66 mile long Mala Compra Greenway Trail. Distances are organized as loops on the greenway:
- 50K: four loops plus a 0.42 mile scenic addition on the first loop
- 24K: two loops
- 12K: one loop
The finish area is adjacent to the ocean, allowing participants to cool off after the race. Shirts and finisher awards are provided to all entrants. Additional handcrafted awards are given for Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters Male and Female, Overall Grandmasters Male and Female, and the youngest and oldest finisher for each distance. There are no age group awards.
Kids races are offered at no charge with distances of 0.25 mile for ages 3 to 6 and 0.5 mile for ages 7 to 12. These races conclude before the main awards ceremony and include participation ribbons for all finishers.
Field size is limited to 125 runners. Race registration fees are non refundable and registrations are not transferable to other participants or to future years. The event is held in memory of a runner and nature enthusiast. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
