Jackrabbit Run 5K & 10K : Copperas Cove, TX
The Jackrabbit Run takes place on May 9, 2026 in Copperas Cove, Texas, at 1878 Post Office Road. The event includes two chip-timed races and is presented by the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau as part of the Cen-Tex Race Series.

The course passes through the Ogletree Gap area and features rolling hills and natural scenery, including a notable large hill. Awards include medals for the top three finishers in each age group and special recognition for overall male and female champions.
Event features noted by the organizer include a DJ, vendors, and a health screening. The first 150 registrants receive a free t-shirt if registration is completed by April 7, 2026 to guarantee size. Packet pickup is scheduled May 8 and May 9 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau at 204 E. Robertson Ave. A morning packet pickup is available at the race site from 7:00 to 7:50 am on race day.
