Jackrabbit Run 5K & 10K
The Jackrabbit Run offers chip timed road races held on May 9, 2026 in Copperas Cove, Texas at 1878 Post Office Rd. The event includes two race distances and is part of the Cen-Tex Race Series.

Registration opens February 1, 2026 and closes on May 9, 2026. The listed registration fee is $35 per race. Race-day registration and packet pick-up are available at the race site using personal devices with credit card payment only. T-shirts are guaranteed for the earliest registered participants; sizes may be unavailable once claimed.
Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group; duplicate awards are not given. Age groups start at 11 and under and include 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29 and continue up to 70 plus.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce on May 7 and May 8 and on the morning of the race at the race site. The course passes through the Ogletree Gap area and includes a prominent hill and rolling terrain noted in the race information. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
