The Jackrabbit 5K
The Jackrabbit 5K is hosted by the Flagstone Church of Christ in Bentonville, Arkansas. The event is family friendly and combines a road race with community activities such as an inflatable fun zone for children and a silent auction.
Race offerings include:
- 5K run
- 1/2 mile fun walk (Bunny Hop)
The 5K features a flat course, finisher medal, race shirt, cash prizes for the overall top three male and female finishers, and age-division award medals. The Bunny Hop uses a well-staffed, out-and-back half mile course and provides an event shirt, race bib, and finisher medal.
Proceeds are used to purchase quality athletic shoes for local neighbors in need. The event has provided shoes to nearly 2,500 people in the Northwest Arkansas area and partners with local running retailer Rush Running to order shoes to fit recipients.
