Event

The Jackrabbit is a community running event hosted by Flagstone Church of Christ in Bentonville, AR on April 18, 2026. The event includes two distances:

5K: untimed event; finisher medals; cash prizes for top three male and female.
1/2 mile: fun run/walk; event shirt; finisher medal.

The program also features an inflatable fun zone for children, a silent auction, door prizes drawn by bib number, and onsite food (Capritotti’s sandwiches).

Details

Proceeds are used to purchase quality athletic shoes for local neighbors in need. Organizers report that nearly 2,000 people in the Northwest Arkansas area have received shoes through the event. Shoes are fitted and specially ordered in partnership with local running store Rush Running.

Race shirts are guaranteed for registrants who sign up by April 1, 2026. Registration is non-refundable. Published entry fees include a 5K registration price of $35 (rising to $45 after March 24, 2026) and a Bunny Hop fee of $20 (rising to $25 after March 24, 2026); shirts are included.

Packet pickup is held at Flagstone Church of Christ with windows scheduled the day before and on race morning. Organizers note the 5K will be untimed but will still award finish-line cash prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
