Event Overview

Jackpot Ultras is a multi-day ultramarathon event held at Cornerstone Park in Henderson, Nevada. The event offers several timed and fixed-distance races on a looped course around a 31-acre pond.

Distances and Courses

The event features two different certified loop courses.

  • Short Course: A 1.17-mile USATF-certified loop, used for the USATF 100 Mile Road Championships and other 100-mile races. It is 95% asphalt or concrete.
  • Long Course: A 2.35-mile USATF-certified loop used for the 48-hour, 24-hour, 12-hour, 6-hour, 100K, and 50-mile races. It has a "horseshoe" shape.

Event Details

The races take place from February 20th to 22nd, with staggered start times for different events over the three days. The overall cutoff for all events is 2:00 PM on Sunday.

A single fully stocked aid station, called "The Strip," operates 24/7. The event is cupless, so runners must carry their own bottle or cup. Dietary options, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free, are available upon request. An express water-fill station is located outside the main aid tent.

A community warming tent called "Town Hall" provides space to rest, with chairs, tables, and a limited number of communal cots. There are no shower facilities on site. While dogs are allowed in the park on a leash, they are requested to stay off the course and away from event tents.

Pacers are allowed from sunset to sunrise for most events, but pacers are not permitted for runners in the USATF 100 Mile Championships. Crews can set up in designated staging areas along "The Jackpot Strip." Parking is available on-site, and RVs are permitted.

Awards and Registration

Runners completing 200 miles in the 48-hour race receive a belt buckle. Those completing 100 miles in any race receive a 100-mile belt buckle, while other finishers receive a medal. The USATF 100 Mile Championships feature a prize purse. Registration is available online and on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
