IWU Against Cancer 5K
The IWU Against Cancer 5K is an inaugural running event held at Tucci Stadium on the Illinois Wesleyan University campus in Bloomington, Illinois. Organized by the Colleges Against Cancer chapter at Illinois Wesleyan University, the event serves as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
Participants can choose between two entry categories for the same distance:
- 5K Student
- 5K Non-Student
Proceeds from the race and additional fundraising efforts contribute to the American Cancer Society's mission, which includes cancer research, patient programs, services, and a 24/7 helpline.
