It Takes the Village 5K Run, Walk and Roll
The Villages at Carver Family YMCA presents the inaugural It Takes the Village 5K Run, Walk and Roll on May 31, 2026 at Pittsburgh Yards in Atlanta. The event takes place along the Westside Beltline at Pittsburgh Yards and is organized as a family oriented run and walk.
The event raises funds to support financial assistance for YMCA programs at the Villages at Carver Family YMCA. Assistance is funded through the Annual Campaign and is available based on need so that program access can be provided to participants who require support.
Registration fees vary by date: from Feb 9 to Apr 14 the 5K entry is $25, from Apr 15 to May 30 it is $30, and on May 31 it is $35. A T shirt only option is available for $25 through race day. A family of four registering together for the in person 5K receives a $5 discount per registrant.
Packet pick up is scheduled at the Villages at Carver Family YMCA, 1600 Pryor Road SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30315 on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Awards are given to the overall first and second place male and female and to first and second place male and female in age groups 0-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, and 61+. Registration policies note that refunds are not available unless Refund Protection is purchased and that management may cancel or modify the event.
