Issaquah Turkey Trot
The Issaquah Turkey Trot is a casual community event held annually on Thanksgiving morning in Washington. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank, supporting the distribution of food and resources throughout East King County. Participants may choose to run, walk, stroll, or trot through the central areas of downtown Issaquah.
The event features a single distance for all participants:
- 5 km (approximately three miles)
The course is open to all ages and accommodates different paces. Children participating in the event can take part in a "Gobble Wobble" activity located along the route. It is common for attendees to wear Thanksgiving-themed costumes and accessories during the activity. In previous years, the event has hosted over 5,000 participants.
Registration includes a race bib and a t-shirt. For those who register during the early period ending October 30, t-shirt sizes are guaranteed. Registration fees are structured based on age, with a reduced rate for children aged 10 and under. Infants and toddlers only require registration if a t-shirt is requested for them.
