Event Overview
The Isle of Wight 5K & Fiesta is a community fundraiser organized by the Isle of Wight Community Club in Midway, Georgia. The event consists of a timed run/walk followed by a social gathering featuring music and tacos. The race is open to both club members and non-members, intended to support the maintenance of the club, its outreach programs, and newer community initiatives.
Race Format and Course
The central athletic activity is a 5K run and walk. The course is stroller-friendly, allowing parents to participate with young children. While participants are encouraged to wear costumes, dogs are not permitted on the course.

Registration and Participation
Participants can register individually or as part of a group. A family bundle discount is available for groups of four or more people registering together. There are separate registration options for children age five and older, while children being pushed in strollers do not require a fee. For those who do not wish to participate in the athletic portion of the day, "Fiesta Only" tickets are available, which provide access to the post-race food and social activities.
Recognition and Amenities
This is a timed race where results are tracked. Medals are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall. Additionally, the top three finishers within each specific age bracket receive awards. Registered participants for both the race and the standalone fiesta receive a commemorative t-shirt.
