Isle of Arran Ormidale 10k
The Isle of Arran Ormidale 10 km is a road race held on Sunday 26 April 2026, starting and finishing at the Ormidale Sports Pavilion in Brodick on the Isle of Arran. The course is flat, runs on public roads and follows the main road north along the coast for 5 kilometres before returning the same way, with a short diversion to make up the distance. Kilometre markers are provided along the route.
All competitors must be at least 16 years of age on race day. Entry fees are £15 for non members and £13 for members of Scottish Athletics. Entries open 27 January 2026 and close 24 April 2026. A licence has been granted by Scottish Athletics.
Facilities at the Ormidale Pavilion include changing rooms, toilets, showers and baggage storage. There is one water station on the course at the 5 kilometre point. Prizes are awarded in standard categories, subject to sufficient entries, and there is a team prize for teams of three. First aid cover will be confirmed prior to the event.
Competitors travelling to the island can arrive by ferry to Brodick; the Ormidale Pavilion is approximately a 15 minute walk from Brodick Pier. Catering is widely available at venues in Brodick. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
