Isle of Arran Ormidale 10k
The event is a 10 km road race held on the Isle of Arran, with start and finish at the Ormidale Sports Pavilion in Brodick. The course is flat, runs on public roads and follows the main road north along the coast for 5 kilometres before returning the same way; there is a short diversion to achieve the full distance. Kilometre markers are provided along the route.
Facilities at the Ormidale Pavilion include changing rooms, toilets, showers and baggage storage. There is one water station on the course at the 5 kilometre point. Catering is available at various venues and hostelries in Brodick. First aid cover will be confirmed prior to the event. The event holds a licence from Scottish Athletics.
Prizes will be presented in the standard categories subject to sufficient entries, and there is a team prize for teams of three. Entry fees are listed by category: members of Scottish Athletics and non members. All competitors must be at least 16 years of age on the day of the race.
