47th Iroquois Hill Runners Thanksgiving Day Run
The event takes place on November 26, 2026 at Iroquois Park in Louisville, KY. It includes a series of run and walk distances, pre race packet pickup, awards, a costume contest, and on site amenities such as coffee and apple cider.

Awards and prizes are concentrated on the 5 Mile event. Overall male and female cash awards for the 5 Mile are listed as 1st $150, 2nd $100, 3rd $50. Age group awards for the 5 Mile are three deep in five year brackets from 14 and under to 75 and older with gift certificates to Swags and amounts of 1st $20, 2nd $15, 3rd $10. Additional 5 Mile awards include oldest male and female $50 each, first stroller $20 and a random drawing with $1000 in prizes. Prizes are distributed at the DJ booth and winners must be present to claim drawing prizes. No awards are given for the 5K or 1.25 Mile.
Packet pickup is available Tuesday and Wednesday of Thanksgiving week at Swag's South End Store, open 10 AM to 7 PM, and race day pickup is available on site. Each entrant receives a long sleeve shirt and an entry in the drawing. Pets are allowed when leashed; runners with pets must start at the back and stay on the right side of the road. Limited parking is available in the Iroquois Amphitheater Lot with overflow at Colonial Gardens and DeSales High School. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
