About the race
The IronHike Mohawk Mountain Fall Series takes place 10/07/2027 to 10/10/2027 at 46 Great Hollow Road, Mohawk Mtn Ski Area, Cornwall, CT, US. The series presents timed trail endurance formats that emphasize sustained elevation gain and loss over multiple laps of the Mohawk Mountain Trail.
Events include continuous events of various durations and a repeating hourly format. The Answer the Bell format requires participants to hike 1.2 miles with about 600 feet of elevation gain and loss every hour on the hour, offered in a 24 hour version and a full version that can continue up to 84 hours and accumulates more than 100 miles and over 50,000 feet of vertical gain.
Other timed events are lap based, with published lap counts, elevation totals, and maximum event hours. Examples from the schedule include:

Selected lap and elevation figures for lap events include 12 laps and 7,140 feet gain and loss in a 12 hour event, 23 laps and 13,685 feet in a 24 hour event, 35 laps and 20,825 feet in a 48 hour event, 49 laps and 29,155 feet in a 72 hour event, and 122 laps and 72,590 feet in an 84 hour event.
