Irondequoit 4th of July Road Race
The event is a community road race held at Irondequoit Town Hall in Rochester, NY. It includes multiple running options and a combo entry that covers both distances.
- 10 km (10K race)
- 2 miles (Fun Run)
- Combo 8.2 miles
Parking and packet pickup are based at the Town Hall, and some nearby business lots may be available for parking. Bathrooms are available at the start and finish area at Town Hall. Packet pickup is offered on the days before the race at local pickup locations and on race day at Town Hall.
Race services include chip timing, race shirts with a size guarantee if registered by June 20, three water stops on the course, and post-race food and water. The 10K carries a 1.5 hour time limit. The combo entry requires maintaining a 12 minute per mile pace to make the 10K start; the schedule allows a short turnaround between the 2 mile and the 10K.
The 10K awards include overall 1st through 3rd places for male and female, masters overall winners 40 and over, and recognition for 1st through 3rd in multiple age groups from 14 and under through 75 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
