Iron Will Backroads

Iron Will Backroads is a multi-distance ultrarunning event held in Enterprise, KS at 3rd & Bluff. The course for the 100 Mile race is composed of nine 11.15-mile loops totaling 100.35 miles, with a manned aid station located at mile 6 of each loop. The surface is primarily gravel roads and a rail trail, with very little asphalt; the rail trail section runs alongside an active historic train.

Distances offered include:

• 100 Mile - 100.35 miles (9 x 11.15 mi loops), $225
• 100K - $175
• 50K - $125

Pacers are permitted starting on Loop 6; only one pacer at a time is allowed and all pacers must sign a waiver. No distance drop-downs or changes are allowed after the race has begun. All participants receive a tri blend shirt; registration by 04/23/2026 is required to be guaranteed a shirt. Awards are given to male and female winners in each race, and finisher buckles are provided to all finishers. The event offers 100% deferrals within 30 days of the event without requiring a reason.
