Iron Will Backroads
Iron Will Backroads is scheduled for May 29, 2027 in Enterprise, KS and is organized by Iron Will Racing. The event offers multiple distances and organized support including manned aid and participant apparel.
Distances:
- 100 Mile: 100.35 miles, nine 11.15-mile loops
- 50 Mile: 50 miles
- 50K: 50 kilometers
The course uses gravel roads and a rail trail with very little asphalt. The rail trail portion passes an active historic train. The 100-mile course is composed of repeated loops with a manned aid station located at mile 6 of each loop.
Pacers are allowed starting on loop 6 with only one pacer at a time; all pacers must sign a waiver. All participants receive a tri-blend shirt; registration by 05/01/2026 is required to be guaranteed a shirt. Awards are given to male and female winners in each race, and finisher buckles are provided to all finishers. Entry fees listed include 50K $135, 50 Mile $170, and 100 Mile $250. No distance changes are allowed after the race has begun. Registration closes on Wed, May 26 at 11:59 PM CT. Deferrals are available at 100 percent within 30 days of the event without a stated reason. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
