Iron Will Backroads - Enterprise, Kansas
Iron Will Backroads is an ultramarathon event held near Enterprise, Kansas. The course for the longest distance is laid out as 9 x 11.15 loops totaling 100.35 miles. Each loop includes a manned aid station located at mile 6.
The route uses gravel roads and a rail trail with very little asphalt. The rail trail portion runs alongside an active historic train that operates along the route.

Entry fees listed for the event are $125 for the 50K, $175 for the 100K, and $225 for the 100 Mile. Registration closes on Wed, May 13, 2026. Registrants who sign up by 04/23/2026 are guaranteed a shirt. All participants receive a tri blend shirt.
Pacers are permitted beginning on loop 6; only one pacer may accompany a runner at a time and all pacers must sign a waiver. No distance drops or distance changes are allowed after the race has begun. Awards are given to male and female winners in each race, and finisher buckles are awarded to all finishers. The event offers 100 percent deferrals within 30 days of the event without requiring a reason. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
