Earth Day Buckle Mania - Abilene, KS
Earth Day Buckle Mania is scheduled for April 24 to April 26, 2026 in Abilene, Kansas. The event offers timed 12 hour, 24 hour and 48 hour race options that take place on a certified paved loop of 1.8228 miles. The loop is described as mostly shaded and located inside a private park.
Runners earn commemorative buckles each time they reach set cumulative distances during the event. Buckles are awarded at multiple milestone distances, so a single participant may receive more than one buckle.

Lodging for the runner is included in the entry fee and is free for the registered runner only. Facilities mentioned include heated showers, cabins, heated buildings and RV hook ups; separate rates for crew and family are handled by the race director. Pacers are permitted after the first 12 hours of each race and muling is not allowed. Deferral requests can be made up to 30 days before the event and are valid for one year only.
All entrants receive a tri blend shirt. Buckles are awarded for each qualifying distance achieved and overall awards are given to the top female and top male in each race.
