Iron Will 100 - Junction City, KS
The event offers multiple ultrarunning formats held at 5203 N HWY 57 in Junction City, Kansas. Distances included are:
- 100 miles: 10 out and back laps on a flat river trail with about 75% shade.
- 50 miles: 5 out and back laps.
- 50K: a short out and back followed by three longer out and backs for roughly 31 miles total.
- 36 hour: a timed option that covers multiple distances.
The course is described as a flat, fast river trail with substantial shade. There will be manned aid stations approximately every 5 miles.
Finishers in each event receive a finisher buckle, with the 100 mile buckle being the largest. Awards are given to the top female and male finishers in each event.
Cutoff times are applied by event: a 36 hour cutoff for the 100 mile, and 34 hour cutoffs for both the 50 mile and the 50K. The 36 hour option is structured so participants do not record a DNF; they receive the award corresponding to the mileage they achieve.
Shirt availability is tied to registration timing. Participants registered by August 27 are guaranteed a shirt; additional shirts may be ordered but sizes and availability are not guaranteed after that date. There are no refunds. Deferrals to the following year are allowed up to 30 days before the event. Changes of event or drop downs are not permitted after the races have started.
