Iron Mountain | Kingsford Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk
The Iron Mountain | Kingsford Turkey Trot is a 5K run/walk held on Thanksgiving morning at the Northern Lights YMCA in Iron Mountain, Michigan. The course runs through neighborhood streets and is described as scenic.
All participants receive long-sleeve shirts and finisher medals. The event includes music and a festive atmosphere, and pies will be awarded to participants showing strong Turkey Day spirit.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and to the top three boys and top three girls in the youth division (12 and younger). The event is family and stroller friendly, and dogs are allowed when owners clean up after them.
Packet pick-up has two options: one option is to be determined and the other is on race morning between 8:00 and 9:15 a.m. at the Northern Lights YMCA, 799 Crystal Lake Blvd, Iron Mountain.
