IRON GRIDDLE - November 14, 2026
IRON GRIDDLE is a trail running event at Percy Warner Park in Nashville, Tennessee. The event includes multiple distances and follows the park's marked loops through Blue, White, and Red trails. The organizers say the event aims to raise funds and awareness to help maintain the trails, remove invasive species, and plant trees.
Distances
- 50K: over 5,175 ft elevation, Red White Blue loops
- Trail Half: over 2,400 ft elevation, Red White Blue loops
- 6 Mile: about 1,060 ft elevation on Mossy Ridge red loop
The 50K traverses most park trails, running counterclockwise for the first half and reversing direction on the second half. Several named trailheads and out-and-back sections also serve as aid stations. Aid station locations include The Chimney, Deep Well, The Nature Center, and the Gaucho Road Trailhead, with additional water and snack points listed on course maps.
The start and finish are at the Gaucho Road Trailhead, adjacent to the Steeplechase horse track, with parking provided nearby. Event provisions include cooked breakfast items prepared on cast iron griddles. Refunds are not issued; bib transfers and distance category changes are permitted until March 23rd.
