IRON GRIDDLE
IRON GRIDDLE is a trail racing event set for November 14, 2026 at Percy Warner Park in Nashville, Tennessee. The start and finish area is at the Gaucho Road Trailhead near the Steeplechase track, with parking available nearby at 2628 Old Hickory Blvd. The event is organized by Sasquatchalope Trail Running and HardWin Adventures.
Distances offered:
- 50K with over 5,175 ft of elevation gain.
- Trail Half with over 2,400 ft of elevation gain.
- 6 Mile with about 1,060 ft of elevation gain.
Course notes describe looped routes using the Blue, White, and Red trails. The 50K traverses the park, running the loops counter clockwise for the first half and then reversing for the second half, and includes multiple out-and-back sections that serve as aid stations. The half marathon follows the Red, White, and Blue loops counter clockwise and includes a descent and climb of the Belle Meade stairs. The 6 mile course follows the Mossy Ridge red loop with a midrace aid station at The Chimney.
Aid stations are listed at several mile points on the 50K and at key locations on the shorter courses. The event highlights on-course food offerings including sausage, bacon, eggs, and pancakes cooked in cast iron griddles. Refunds are not issued; bib transfers and category changes are permitted through March 23rd.
