IRON GRIDDLE - November 14, 2026
IRON GRIDDLE is a trail running event at Percy Warner Park in Nashville, Tennessee, presented by Sasquatchalope Trail Running and HardWin Adventures. The event supports trail maintenance, removal of invasive species, and tree planting in the park.
Distances
- 50K - 5,175 ft elevation gain, full park traverse
- Trail Half - over 2,400 ft elevation gain, 13.5 mile finish
- 6 Mile - 1,060 ft elevation gain, loop on Mossy Ridge
The IRON GRIDDLE ULTRA 50K covers the park's Red, White, and Blue loops with more than 5,175 ft of climbing. Runners travel counter clockwise for the first half and reverse the direction for the second half. The course includes out-and-back sections and multiple aid station trailheads. Aid stations are listed at Mile 3.75 Chimney, Mile 7 Deep Well, Mile 10 Nature Center, Mile 15 Gaucho Road Trailhead, Mile 20 Nature Center, Mile 23 Deep Well, Mile 26 water, Mile 27.5 water and snack, and a finish near Mile 31.1 on the Steeplechase.
The Hidden Owl Half follows Red, White, and Blue loops counter clockwise, includes a trip down and back up the Belle Meade stairs, and has aid stations near Mile 3 and Mile 9 with a 13.5 mile finish.
The Moss Monster Six is a roughly 6 mile red loop route with an aid station at Mile 3 and a marked return to the Gaucho Road Trailhead.
Start and finish are at the Gaucho Road Trailhead, 2628 Old Hickory Blvd, Nashville, TN. Parking is available near the start area. The park requested staggered starts to spread runners on the trails.
