Irish Jig 5K
The Irish Jig 5K is a multi-event race weekend in Grand Rapids, Michigan, held March 19-20, 2027 at 2211 Lake Dr SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506. The event has taken place for more than 40 years and in 2027 directs proceeds toward cancer research and pediatric care through Corewell Health and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.

The 5K allows walkers on the course; walkers must begin after runners and complete the route within 75 minutes. The Kids Gold Ribbon Run is open to youth, will use age categories and waves, and supports pediatric cancer programs; a commemorative shirt is offered as an optional purchase. The virtual option lets participants take part remotely and includes a commemorative shirt that will be mailed out on race weekend. Registration opens September 1, 2026; registration windows and fees vary by event.
