The IPA Trail Runs
The IPA Trail Runs take place at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake SRA. The event offers two courses along the shoreline on well-marked single-track trails with scenic lake views.
Distances:
- 12K (7.5 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
Each entry includes a commemorative item and post-race provisions. Runners receive custom gear (socks and a commemorative IPA Beer Run glass) and can fill the glass with locally brewed IPA for participants over 21 at the finish. A hot post race meal is provided, typically soup or chili with fruit, cookies and a beverage.
Awards are presented three deep in each ten-year age group, and Overall Champion Awards are given to the first place overall male and female in each race. Commemorative shirts are available for $20 when pre-ordered.
Packet pick-up is available at the race site on race morning from 6:30 - 8:00 am. Entry fees vary by registration date.
