The IPA Trail Runs
The IPA Trail Runs take place on January 9, 2027, at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area in Granite Bay, California. The event features two waymarked trail courses that run along the shoreline of Folsom Lake and use single-track trails with lake views.
Distances:
- 5K trail run on well-marked single-track trails.
- 12K trail run on well-marked single-track trails.
Each entry includes a custom TBF SweatVac running hat and access to a local craft beer sample for participants aged 21 and over at the finish area. Post-race hot food is provided and awards are presented three deep in each ten-year age group. First place Overall Male and Female in both the 5K and 12K receive Overall Champion Awards.
Commemorative cotton shirts in men’s and women’s cuts are available for $20 when preordered before January 5. Entry fees for each race are listed at $45.
Packet pick-up is available at the race site on race morning. The organizer operates a no refund policy; refunds requested prior to race week are issued as event credit minus a $25 processing fee. Event credits and transfers are subject to time and fee restrictions and are not available during race week. Events are held rain or shine.
The event is organized by Total Body Fitness. A volunteer program offers a $50 TBF Racing volunteer voucher for a standard four hour shift; volunteer positions must be reserved in advance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
