IOP Beach Run 2026 - Isle of Palms, SC
IOP Beach Run 2026 is a community running event held on the flat, wide, hard-packed beach near low tide behind the Windjammer at 1008 Ocean Boulevard, Isle of Palms. The event program includes road-style distance options and youth fun runs conducted on the beach course with start and finish behind the Windjammer.

- 10K Run
- 5K Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run (ages 9-14)
- 1/2 Mile Fun Run (ages 5-8)
- 100 Yard Fun Run (ages 4 and under)
Registration is available online and at the Isle of Palms Recreation Center. Online registration closes Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Guaranteed shirt sizes apply to entries received on or before June 19, 2026. Late registration and packet pickup are offered in the days before the event and on the day of the race; late entry payment options may be restricted.
Parking is available in the Isle of Palms Municipal Parking Lot B on Pavilion Drive; beach run parking passes are included with pre-registered packets or provided on race morning. All runners and walkers will be timed. Awards are presented for overall male and female winners in the 5K and 10K and for the top two male and female finishers in multiple age groups; youth fun run finishers receive ribbons. Results will be posted on the Isle of Palms recreation webpage and on RunSignUp. Entry fees are non-refundable and participants may enter only one event. The event is held rain or shine.
