The Into the Light - Sunrise 5K is a 5 km run or walk event scheduled for Sunday, March 1, 2026. It takes place at Richland Creek Greenway in Nashville, with the McCabe Community Center as a primary location. The event is centered on mental health awareness.
Registration
Registration opens on December 1, 2025. Early bird pricing applies until February 1, 2026, with fees set at $30 for participants aged 18 and under and $40 for adults. After February 1, standard fees are $40 for ages 18 and under and $50 for adults. The registration price includes access to a Thursday night party.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup includes a T-shirt pick-up party on Thursday, February 26, at McCabe Community Center from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Free pizza and drinks are provided, but an RSVP is required. Alternatively, pickup is available at Fleet Feet in the Green Hills location on February 21 or February 28 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A shipping add-on option costs a flat fee of $10.
Extras and Logistics
Participants receive glow in the dark wristbands, available for runners and dogs. Commemorative posters are available for purchase. Parking is limited, and headlamps or flashlights are recommended. The event welcomes walkers, runners, and dogs.
Accommodations
