Into the Hills Eltuck 10k
The Into the Hills Eltuck 10k is a trail race at Lory State Park - Eltuck Picnic Area in Bellvue, Colorado. It is one race in an August midweek trail series that includes distances from 5k to 12k. The 10k course is listed with approximately 1,700 feet of elevation gain. Results are recorded by chip time and series points are awarded across the races; top series finishers receive awards. Registrants are offered a selection of vintage Gnar race shirts and pizza and beverages are provided after each race with local support.
Event details and rules
The event page lists an entry price of $27.50 (includes a $2.50 fee) and a youth price of $11.60 for ages 1-17. The series pricing structure shows early and late rates and a series-pass option: $25 per race or $80 for the series through June 30, and $30 per race or $100 for the series after July 1; a special $10 per race rate applies for ages 17 and under. Bibs have chips pre-attached and are available for pick up at the race start. There is no on-course aid. Two permanent toilets are at the start/finish; the hilly races pass a park restroom near the 0.25 mile mark. Dogs are not allowed on course. Parking is at the Eltuck Picnic Area until full, with overflow directed to Spur Road. A day park pass ($10) is required if a vehicle does not have an annual state parks pass.
