Event Overview
The third annual Rockville Women's Center Inspire Life 5K takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This community event features multiple distances and activities designed for various interests and ages.
Distances and Course Information
Participants can choose from the following event options:
- 5 km Timed Race
- 1 Mile Fun Run
The paths for both the 5 km and the 1 Mile events are stroller accessible. A course map is available for participants to review the route through the park.
Activities and Facilities
The event is held at Bohrer Park, which provides access to playgrounds. Beyond the races, there are several family-oriented activities available, including:
- Face painting
- Chalk art
- Bubble stations
Registration is open to the public, with price increases scheduled to take effect after April 10, 2026. Results for the timed 5 km race are categorized by age group. There are also opportunities for volunteers to assist with event operations and for individuals to participate in fundraising representative of the event's beneficiary.
