Course, schedule, and awards
The 5K course is USTAF-certified (NY23068DNB). The course starts on Solar Street and finishes at the Syracuse Inner Harbor, passing through Franklin Square and along Creek Walk. Packet pickup is scheduled on October 2 at Lululemon (Destiny Mall, second floor), October 3 at Fleet feet Syracuse (5800 Bridge Street), and on race day at the Inner Harbor (corner of Solar and West Kirkpatrick). Post-race offerings include massages, yoga, music, food trucks, and beer tasting.
Awards are given to the overall top three male and female finishers, top three in age groups (13 and under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and above), and mid-pack awards. The first 500 registered participants are guaranteed a shirt and medal; registering by September 28 is recommended to ensure shirt size.
