Event Overview
The Indy Sprint Triathlon on August 22 is the second of two races held at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis.
Event Options
Participants can choose from five different event formats:
- Triathlon: a 500m swim, 10 mi bike, and 3 mi run
- Duathlon: a 2 mi run, 10 mi bike, and 3 mi run
- Aquabike: a 500m swim and 10 mi bike
- Triathlon Relay: a team of 2-3 people completes the triathlon distances
- Duathlon Relay: a team of 2 people completes the duathlon distances
Additional Information
The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT). All competitors must be at least 14 years old by December 31, 2026, and must hold either an annual or a one-day USAT membership.
A soft-style T-shirt is guaranteed for registrations received by August 13. Awards are given for overall, age-group, and division winners. The event also offers a referral program where participants can receive a $5 refund for every two people they refer who register. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
