Avon Marching Band on the Run 5K
The Avon Marching Band on the Run 5K is a community running and walking event held at Washington Township Park amphitheater in the lower area across from the splash pad in Avon, IN. The event supports the Avon Marching Black and Gold and takes place at the amphitheater location listed for the park.
This is an untimed 5K event covering 3.1 miles. Participants may walk, run, or combine walking and running. Strollers and pets are welcome, and participants using them are asked to stay toward the rear of the race line-up.
Registration opens December 29, 2025. The registration fee is $30.00 and includes a shirt and a medal; registering by August 13 guarantees a T-shirt and medal. Registrations are accepted up to the day of the event, but items ordered with guaranteed sizing and availability apply only to those who register by the August 13 deadline. Shirt pick-up is handled at the registration tent on the morning of the event.
Wearing the event shirt or medal to Community Night the same evening provides free entry to that Community Night. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
