Avon Marching Band on the Run 5K
The Avon Marching Band on the Run 5K is a community running and walking event held at the Washington Township Park amphitheater, located across from the park splash pad at 435 Whipple Ln in Avon, Indiana. The course distance is 3.1 Miles.
The event is not timed. Participants may choose to walk, run, or do both. The registration fee is $30.00 and includes a shirt and a medal; registrations completed by August 14 are guaranteed a T-shirt and medal. Registration is open from 12/29/2025 through 8/15/2026.
Shirt pick-up is available at the registration tent on race morning. Strollers and pets are welcome; participants using strollers or accompanied by pets are asked to remain at the rear of the race line-up. Those wearing the event shirt or medal may enter Community Night that evening without charge.
The event supports the Avon Marching Black and Gold and is organized around activities at the park amphitheater in the lower part of Washington Township Park across from the splash pad. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
