Course, timing, services and policies
The course is a 1-mile flat loop at Sunset Park. Timing uses chip timing for start and finish with chip-timed splits every mile; mile splits are displayed on timing clocks as runners pass each mile point. Aid support includes water, a gatorade-type drink and bananas at course stations, plus space for personal aid to be dropped and handed out by volunteers. Music and entertainment will be provided along the loop. Awards include top finishers overall, masters, grand masters and age-group awards; all participants receive a custom finisher medal. Registrations are final: there are no refunds, transfers, or deferments. The event will proceed rain or shine and may be canceled for extreme weather without refunds.
