About the race
The Bound for Boston Marathon & Half Marathon takes place at Taft Park in Richfield, MN. The course is a 1-mile loop described as very flat and fast. The full marathon is USATF certified and serves as a Boston qualifier.

- 26.2 Miles full marathon
- 13.1 Miles half marathon
- Virtual marathon option
- Virtual half marathon option
- Spectator option listed as Cheer Crew with no entry fee
Aid and support are organized around the START/FINISH area with water and an electrolyte drink available at the aid table. Participants may place personalized aid on the aid tables for use each lap. Race items provided to participants include a race shirt and a finisher medal. Awards are given in 5-year age groups for both distances.
Virtual entries allow participants to run when and where they choose and require a submitted time by the end of race day; shirts and medals for virtual participants will be shipped on Tuesday 8/20/24 according to event details.
