Idaho Running Day - Boise Greenbelt
Idaho Running Day offers multiple race distances along the Boise Greenbelt, running from Lucky Peak Reservoir toward Southeast Boise with the Start/Finish area at Sandy Point Park in Boise, ID. Distances offered include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
All participants receive locally designed medals, a high-quality athletic shirt, chip timing with real-time results, and access to a post-race party with food trucks at the finish area. Course support includes aid stations roughly every 2 to 3 miles on the 10K, half marathon, and marathon courses; each aid station will provide Gu chews, gels, waffles, Tailwind hydration, and a PortaPros restroom unit. There are porta potties and two ADA restrooms at Sandy Point Park.
Packet pickup is available in advance at Fleet Feet Nampa on Wednesday 10/14 and Fleet Feet Meridian on Thursday 10/15 from midday to early evening; limited race day packet pickup will also be offered at the Start/Finish. A marked gear drop tent will be monitored by a volunteer; dropped bags must be labeled with bib numbers and picked up by 3:00 pm or they will be returned to Fleet Feet Meridian for two weeks.
Event amenities include a race day shuttle with a drop off a 10 to 15 minute walk from the Start/Finish area, parking in the Sandy Point lot with a $7 fee, team scoring with cash prizes and club incentives, and volunteer opportunities with event discounts and organizational giveback options.
