Idaho Running Day : Boise, ID
Idaho Running Day is a multi-distance road running event held along the Boise Greenbelt, with a start and finish area at Sandy Point Park. The course runs from Lucky Peak Reservoir toward Southeast Boise and follows sections of the Boise River.

- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
Participants receive locally designed finisher medals and event athletic shirts. The event uses real-time chip timing and posts results and photos from previous years. Course maps are provided for each distance. Aid stations are positioned about every 2 to 3 miles on the 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon courses; these stations include Gu chews, gels, waffles, and Tailwind hydration. A portable restroom unit will be located at each aid station.
Event logistics include packet pickup at local Fleet Feet locations in the days before the event and limited race-day packet pickup at the start/finish area for participants not using the shuttle. A free race-day shuttle is offered as an add-on, with the shuttle drop off and pick up located about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the start/finish. Parking at Sandy Point Beach has a $7 fee, cash preferred; additional parking is available at the Lucky Peak State Discovery Unit about a 10 to 15 minute walk away.
A marked gear drop tent will accept bags labeled with bib numbers; items must be claimed by 3:00 pm after the race. The event includes team scoring, club incentives, and cash prizes for club participation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
