Idaho Falls Marathon & Half
The Idaho Falls Marathon & Half includes three race distances:
- Marathon
- Half marathon
- 5K
All races start and finish at Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The marathon runs its first half west through southeast Idaho farm country and returns through historic New Sweden. After returning to the start point the marathon continues clockwise around the Snake River Greenbelt for the remaining half and finishes where it started.
The half marathon also begins at Snake River Landing and follows the clockwise section of the Snake River Greenbelt that serves as the second half of the marathon course. The 5K course stays close to the Snake River Landing area and is listed as course to be determined.
Organizational responsibility for the event has shifted to The Bearded Realtors. The event listing includes course descriptions that highlight the river greenbelt and nearby agricultural and historic areas as primary scenery for the longer distances.
