Icklesham 8km Trail Race
This event is an approximately 8 kilometre trail loop around Icklesham on Sunday 26 April 2026. The route is mostly on trail, with over 75 percent of the course on unpaved surfaces, and it passes some local landmarks. As a trail event the distance is approximate.
The course is fully marked and marshalled. There may be livestock on the course and running with dogs is prohibited. Prizes are awarded to the first male and first female finishers. After the race tea and cake are provided in the hall.
Toilets, changing facilities and parking are available at the village hall. The field of entries is limited to 60 people to avoid overwhelming the village with cars. Minimum age to enter is 15 or older.
Entries open 24 January 2026 and close 25 April 2026. Entry fees are £15.00, increasing to £18.00 from 19 April 2026. A course map is available on request. The event is organised by a local race group and is delivered as an in-person trail race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
