Course and Categories
The 10 mile course is accredited by the Manitoba Runners Association (MRA). The route has remained essentially unchanged for over 50 years and is characterized as fast and flat. The 5 km race awards prizes to the first-place male and female finishers. For the 10 mile distance, age group awards are provided for categories ranging from 19 and under to 70 plus.
The 1 mile fun run allows for race-day registration at the Gimli Pavilion Park. Virtual participants for the 5 km and 10 mile distances have a specific window from late July to early August to complete their runs and submit results for listing.
