The festival includes three races held in Gimli: a 10 mile road race, a 5 km race, and a 1 mile fun run.
- 10 mile, route from Winnipeg Beach to Gimli on Hwy 9
- 5 km, start and finish at Gimli Pavilion Park, east side
- 1 mile, fun run at Gimli Pavilion Park
The 10 mile race is accredited by the Manitoba Runners Association and is described as the second oldest running race in Western Canada. Age group awards are given to top male and female first place finishers across multiple age brackets.
The 5 km is part of the four-event Interlake Run Series. Prizes are awarded for first place male and female finishers in the 5 km.
Virtual entry options are available for some races; virtual participants may submit times during specified windows in July and August to have results listed.
Registration fees vary by event and by registration period, with multiple pricing tiers shown for each race. Day-of registration is available for the 1 mile fun run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
