Grand Beach Sun Run
The Grand Beach Sun Run takes place at Grand Beach, Grand Marais, Manitoba, with activity located near Parking 2 and Parking 3. It is a set of road races with chip timing.
The event includes these distances:
- 3 km fun run
- 5 km road race
- 10 km road race
The event is presented by New Age HVAC Ltd. and sanctioned by the Manitoba Runners' Association and associated MRA series. Proceeds support the Grand Beach Community Club and the local medical centre. Awards include medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each gender category across age groups. A cash prize of $100 will be awarded to the top runner in each gender category for the 3 km, 5 km and 10 km races.
Chip timing is used and chips must be worn on the running shoe. Provincial park passes are not required this year and participants are directed to park in Parking Lot 1.

- Thursday August 13 at City Park Runners, 5 00 PM to 7 00 PM
- Friday August 14 at Grand Beach Community Club, 6 30 PM to 9 00 PM
- Saturday August 15 at Grand Beach West Beach Parking Lot 2, 7 00 AM to 8 00 AM
