Grand Beach Sun Run : event details
The Grand Beach Sun Run takes place on August 15, 2026 at Grand Beach Parking 2 and 3, Grand Marais, Manitoba, Canada. The event includes several race distances listed below.
- 3 km Fun Run
- 5 km road race
- 10 km road race
The event is presented by NEW AGE HVAC Ltd and is sanctioned by the Manitoba Runners' Association. It is part of MRA series events. First, second and third place medals will be awarded for each gender category across age groups. A cash prize of $100 will be awarded to the top runner in each gender category for the 3 km, 5 km and 10 km races. All races use chip timing and chips must be worn on the running shoe.
Proceeds support the Grand Beach Community Club and Medical Centre. Race kit pick up is scheduled at City Park Runners (Thursday, August 13), Grand Beach Community Club (Friday, August 14) and at Grand Beach Parking Lot 2 on race day. MRA members receive a $5 discount on 5 km and 10 km registrations. Provincial park passes are not required this year and parking is directed to Parking Lot 1.
