Grand Beach Sun Run - Grand Marais, Manitoba

The Grand Beach Sun Run takes place on August 15, 2026 at Grand Beach Parking 2 and 3 in Grand Marais, Manitoba. The event includes a fun run and two road races with chip timing; chips must be worn on the running shoe.

The event is presented by New Age HVAC Ltd. and sanctioned by the Manitoba Runners' Association. It is included in the MRA Celebration, MRA Youth, and MRA Classic Race Series. Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each gender category across all age groups. A cash prize of CA$100 will be awarded to the top runner in each gender category for the 3 km, 5 km and 10 km races.

Registration fees vary by date and age category, and MRA members receive a CA$5 discount on 5 km and 10 km registrations. Proceeds support the Grand Beach Community Club and the local medical centre.
