Icebox 480/240 : River Falls, WI (Nov 7, 2026)

Icebox 480/240 is a timed trail challenge held in River Falls, Wisconsin, at 800 Whitetail Blvd. The event offers two duration options for accumulating distance:

Participants run repeated loops on a single-track course that measures about 5 miles per loop. The event uses a time-range start rather than a mass-start because of the single-track layout, allowing runners to spread out on the course.

Course and race procedures

Runners complete as many loops as they can within their chosen time limit. In the final hour of a runner’s allotted time, a separate short loop of 1.05 miles is available and may be used in place of the standard loop. Loop counts and progress are tracked on display boards at the course. The course location is just across the border from the Twin Cities, accessed via highway 94.
