I Thought Turkeys Could Fly 5k

The event is the sixth running of the "I Thought Turkeys Could Fly" 5K in Dunn, North Carolina. The course is USATF certified and begins and ends on North General Lee Ave by Tyler Park at 201 North General Lee Ave, Dunn, NC 28334. The course has only 56 ft of elevation change and features a downhill finish; it is described as flat and fast. The race will be chip timed.

Proceeds from this edition will benefit the DUMA Food Bank. Awards include medals for the top three overall female and male finishers. Age group medals are awarded to females and males using USATF 10-year groupings: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 and up.
