HYROX Cardiff : Principality Stadium, 20 to 29 May 2027
HYROX returns to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff to close out the 2026/27 season. The event is scheduled across 20 to 29 May 2027 and is hosted at Principality Stadium, Westgate St, Cardiff, CF10 1NS.
The event programme includes individual finisher times with split timings for each workout and live leaderboard posting during competition. Age group award ceremonies are held after all athletes in each division have competed, and certain age groups can earn qualification slots for the World Championships. Athletes receive a finisher patch, an athlete wristband, a venue access wristband, an ankle strap with timing chip, and a bib at check-in.
Athlete registration rules state that a physical copy of ID is required, digital copies are not accepted, and checking in on behalf of others is not allowed. On-site registration for each division opens 90 minutes before that division’s first start wave; provisional schedules and start lists are published in advance.
On-site services include aid stations before, during and after the course, a designated spectator viewing area called the Thunderdome, an Entertainment Zone with partners, and opportunities to purchase professional photos. Official race photography is provided by Sportograf; photos can be located using a selfie upload and a Sportograf Ticket ID that requires ticket personalisation.
The event offers charity entry options with Race for Impact fundraising requirements of £400 for a solo entry or £800 for a double entry, and lists Macmillan Cancer Support as a charity partner. Volunteer roles include judging at stations, supporting water stations and bag drop, spectator services, merchandise and wider event operations.
