HYROX Cardiff at Principality Stadium, Cardiff
HYROX Cardiff takes place from 20 May to 29 May 2027 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. The event closes the 2026/27 HYROX season and is held inside the stadium.
The competition includes individual timing with split timings for each workout and live result times posted on the event leaderboard. Finishers receive a HYROX finishers patch. Age group award ceremonies take place after each division has completed, and certain age groups can earn qualification slots for the World Championships. Aid stations are provided before, during and after the course. The venue features the Thunderdome viewing area and a HYROX Entertainment Zone. Professional race photos are available through the official photography partner Sportograf; images are typically viewable about 48 hours after the race using the Sportograf validation process.
Athlete information is published progressively. Individual start times are linked approximately three days before the athlete race day and start time changes are not permitted. A provisional start time schedule is available for planning. On-site registration opens for each division 90 minutes before that division's first start wave. Athlete check-in requires a physical ID, must be completed on the day of competition, and cannot be completed on behalf of another person. At athlete registration competitors receive an athlete wristband, a venue access wristband, an ankle strap with timing chip and a bib number; these items are required to race.
Ticket options include Flex Lite and Flex Add-On conditions for name changes and refunds. Charity entry options require fundraising commitments and Race for Impact offers multiple cause areas.
