Hypothermic Half Marathon 2027 - Winnipeg
The event takes place at the Norwood Community Centre, 87 Walmer St, Winnipeg, MB R2H 3H4 on the weekend of February 6 and 7, 2027. Distances offered include:
- 21.1 km half marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
- Challenge combinations: half marathon plus 5 km, and half marathon plus 10 km
Registration can be for in-person or virtual participation. The virtual option is restricted to Canadian residents; US and overseas applicants are not accepted. Some in-person entries may be assigned a wave start based on the participant’s expected finishing time; registrants are asked to provide an expected finish time or pace at registration.
The event is chip timed and official results will be posted after the event. Participants are encouraged to carry their own hydration and nutrition because water stations will be limited and self-serve. Brunch is included with in-person registrations, and extra brunch tickets are available for purchase.
All participants receive event souvenirs and a finisher medal. In-person participants are eligible to win prizes from sponsors, including a limited number of running shoes. Challenge entrants receive two souvenirs, two finisher medals, a commemorative challenge patch, a chipped bib for each event, and brunch after each event.
