The Hyner Half is a trail race held at Hyner Run State Park in Hyner / North Bend, Pennsylvania. Distances offered:

The event is open to runners and speed-hikers only; it is not designed for walkers. There is a strict time limit of 4.5 hours for the main race. All entrants must meet the event's qualifying requirement by listing a prior race and time. Registration is limited to the first 225 entrants. Race policies include no refunds, no deferrals, no bib transfers, and no bandits.

Course and support

The 14-mile course uses single-track trails through Sproul State Forest and includes varied, rugged terrain. There are three aid stations located at mile 4, mile 8, and mile 11.5. The 7K follows the first portion of the course, includes the initial big climb and the deer fence section, and returns to finish with a roughly 2-mile downhill.
