Hyner Half & 7K : Hyner Run State Park, Hyner PA
The Hyner event offers two trail distances that run through Sproul State Forest within Hyner Run State Park in the PA Wilds. The main race covers a 14-mile route on rugged single-track trails. A shorter 7K option follows the initial climb on Long Fork, continues to the deer fence, and returns down Log Hollow to the finish.
Entry is restricted to runners and speed-hikers; walkers are not permitted. All participants must submit a prior qualifying event and time to be considered official entrants. The race enforces a strict 4.5 hour time limit. Timing cutoff and participant limits apply.
There are three on-course aid stations located at mile 4, mile 8, and mile 11.5. Post-race food and beverages are provided. Hyner Run State Park includes a swimming pool that participants may use during the event day.
Registration opens in December via Ultrasignup and is subject to limits and event policies. No refunds, no deferrals, and no bandit entries are allowed.
