About the race
The Healthy Youth Coalition and the Tri City Event Series will hold the HYC GLOW Color Blast Fun Run on October 17, 2026, at Henes Park in Menominee, Michigan (100 Henes Park Drive). The event is a nighttime run using neon glow color powder at seven color stations and is designed as an "elevator run" where participants choose their distance by completing one to three loops.
Pre-registration details and fees are given in advance. Pre-registering guarantees a black t shirt, a UV light headlamp, and a discounted adult fee of $30. A grant from the Provident Health Foundation reduces the child entry fee to $15 for participants 17 and under. The pre-registration period ends September 30 and general registration closes October 1; after the pre registration date apparel upgrades will no longer be available and t shirts are not guaranteed.
The registration fee includes a finishers medal, a UV light headlamp, and a black t shirt to highlight the UV reactive powder. Additional apparel options are available for an extra cost. Glow merchandise will be available for purchase during packet pick up and on the night of the event; merchandise sales are cash only.
Advanced packet pick up is scheduled for October 16 at Menominee County ISD (1201 41st Avenue). Day of registration and packet pick up will take place at the third pavilion in Henes Park.
