Midwest Greater Des Moines Half Marathon, 10K & 5K
The Midwest Greater Des Moines Half Marathon Series takes place in Des Moines, Iowa on September 27, 2026. The city hosts a set of running events produced by Premier Event Management; the series name replaces the former HyVee Half Marathon title.
Starting and finishing steps from the Polk County Courthouse on Court Avenue, the event center is located at 420 Court Ave in downtown Des Moines. The race weekend offers in-person and virtual options, and includes a dedicated youth race that uses the main finish line structure.
