4th Annual Hutto Turkey "Trail" Trot
The event is a community trail race and post-trot gathering held at the Hippo Social Club, 3250 Limmer Loop #5 in Hutto, Texas. The course uses wide, 100% dirt trails and is explicitly not a road race. Trails may include leaves, rocks, roots, and changing inclines, so participants should watch their footing and expect uneven terrain.
- 1.1 to 3.1 miles; choose a route up to 3.1 miles
The event program includes music, a bonfire, a kids zone, a restoration station, a sauna, a cold plunge, and communal interactive experiences; these features are included with race entry. Parking is available at Christ the Rock. Pets are welcome when leashed and cleaned up after. Strollers are allowed at each participant's discretion but may be difficult to maneuver due to roots and uneven ground. Children may participate with parent or guardian supervision depending on ability.
Registration opens in August 2026 and closes in October 2026; the listed registration fee for the event is $15.00. Entry proceeds support the development, beautification, and maintenance of the Hippo Trails greenspace. Participants are encouraged to bring a pair of brand new pajamas to donate; new pajama donations will benefit The Pajama Program, a national 501C organization.
