Hustle Up the Hill - Warrenville, IL
Hustle Up The Hill is an annual fundraiser organized by St. Irene (A Bridge Community Partner) to support Bridge Communities program partners that sponsor and mentor three homeless families through a two year transition to self-sufficiency. Proceeds from the event support those program activities.
The on-site challenge at Blackwell Forest Preserve - Mt. Hoy features repeated up and down climbs of the hill. The climb reaches an elevation of 836 feet above sea level and offers panoramic views of the western suburbs; on clear days the Chicago skyline is visible. The on-site course requires participants to ascend and descend a route of roughly half a mile each way.
A virtual option called Hustle Across the States allows participants to complete a hustle at Mt. Hoy or a site of their choice between September 26 and October 2. Entry pricing listed for the event includes individual registrations at USD 30 and group registrations at USD 25 for groups of four or more. School and Scout teams may qualify for special pricing. Dogs are allowed with no additional fee.
