HURT100
HURT100 (Hawaiian Ultra Running Team’s Trail 100 Mile Endurance Run) is a very difficult, long distance trail event held in the rain forest above Honolulu on the island of Oahu. The course runs on trails within the jurisdiction of the State of Hawai‘i Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife, Nā Ala Hele program. For 2027 the application for the lottery is closed; the lottery date was August 8, 2026.
Race weekend activities listed by the organizer include a shake out run, a pre race briefing, bib number pickup, runner tracking, and an awards banquet. The event is organized by HURT Inc, a 501(c)(3) organization.
Course maps are provided in multiple formats for reference. Available formats include geo referenced PDF maps (recommended for those less familiar with the route), a GPX file intended for smartwatches that represents a single 20 mile loop of the course, KML files for viewing in Google Earth, and a Google Maps view. The organizer notes these maps are for general reference only and cautions that GPS measurement errors in the mountains can be larger than the distance to a hazard. Geo referenced PDF maps can show real time GPS location without cell coverage if used in compatible apps that allow offline maps. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
