Tantalizing Tantalus Trail Half Marathon
This trail half marathon takes place on July 25, 2026. The route starts in Makiki and proceeds to the Jackass Ginger trailhead in Nuʻuanu. Runners cross Nuʻuanu stream, reach the trailhead, then turn around and retrace the same route to return to Makiki.
The course passes through areas with various Hawaiian native plants and includes exposed roots, rocks, mud puddles, stream crossings, and numerous hills. Terrain features are repeated along the out and back route and may require careful footing on steeper and uneven sections.
