HuronRox
HuronRox is a functional fitness endurance event held at CrossFit Goderich in Goderich, Ontario on August 16, 2026. The format pairs run loops with predetermined workout stations; each station is preceded by a run loop and a final run loop follows the last station. Teams and pairs must register with one member submitting group details so members can claim their registrations and sign waivers.
Divisions: Individual RX and Scaled, Pairs RX and Scaled, Teams of 4 Open. Check in cutoffs apply for divisions and participants are asked to arrive early.
Standard RX requirements include a 1300 m run (two 650 m loops), a 640 ft farmer carry (2 x 70 lb for males, 2 x 50 lb for females), a 600 ft harnessed sled pull (total weights M 190 lb, F 155 lb), 100 wall balls (20 lb to 10 ft target male, 14 lb to 9 ft target female), 60 burpee box jump overs (box heights male 24", female 20"), and a 1000 m row. Scaled standards include a 650 m run (one 650 m loop), adjusted farmer carry and sled pull weights, 60 wall balls, 40 burpee box jump or step overs (box heights male 20", female 12"), and an 800 m row. Teams in the Open division use RX standards and may split work across members.
Scoring is by fastest overall time per division, with rankings for solo male and female, and overall rankings for pairs and teams; awards are given for first through third place. Facilities include one flush toilet plus two porta potties, water bottle filling stations, and an athlete warm up area; the athlete area is both inside and outside. Parking is in designated areas and access rules apply once heats begin. Registration includes a participant swag bag with a t shirt if registered before July 8, lunch for participants and volunteers, a free week pass for CrossFit Goderich, and other donated items.
