HuronRox
HuronRox is a functional fitness endurance event held at CrossFit Goderich in Goderich, Ontario. The format pairs a series of run loops with functional workout stations in a predetermined order for each division, with a final run loop after the last station.
Divisions include Individual (RX and Scaled), Pairs (same sex or mixed, RX and Scaled) and Teams of 4 in an OPEN division. Pairs must run together on each loop; teams may designate one runner per run. Scoring is by fastest overall time in each division; solo racers are ranked by male/female, pairs and teams are ranked overall. First, second and third places are awarded.
On-site facilities include one flush toilet, two porta-potties, water bottle filling stations and an athlete warm-up area. The athlete area is outdoors; participants may bring chairs and tents for shade. Local vendors will sell coffee and snacks; a free BBQ for athletes and volunteers is scheduled at midday and fruit will be provided.
The registration policy states no refunds and no transfers; all sales are final. Registration includes a participant swag bag with a t-shirt (register before July 8 to receive a shirt), a free week pass for CrossFit Goderich, donated items from sponsors, and local discounts.
