HuronRox
HuronRox is a functional fitness endurance event held at CrossFit Goderich on the property known as The Ridge in Goderich, Ontario. Participants complete a series of run loops each followed by a functional workout station in a predetermined order, with a final run loop after the last station.
Divisions include Individual (RX and Scaled), Pairs (two people, same sex or mixed, RX and Scaled) and Teams of four in an Open division. Solo competitors complete all runs and workouts alone. Pairs must run together for all runs and may split station work as they choose. Teams may designate one runner per loop and divide the workload among members.
Workout stations alternate with runs and include burpee box jumps, farmer carry, rowing, sled pull, and wall balls. In RX the run loop is 1300 m, including about 400 m on Mill Road in a designated lane; in Scaled the run loop is 800 m and is mostly shaded and off-road. Weights, distances, rep schemes and movement standards differ between RX and Scaled, with specified targets, repetition totals and box heights provided in event standards.
Onsite facilities include one flush toilet and washroom, two porta-potties, water bottle filling stations and an outdoor athlete warm-up area. The event enforces a no-refund, no-transfer sales policy and uses tiered pricing periods. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
